Inspiration from STI International’s proven race pistol design lead to the creation of the STI Stinger; a shorter, lighter race pistol for faster target acquisition and less muzzle flip. With patented 2011 technology and 3.9” Trubor compensated barrel system, the STI Stinger delivers all the advantages of a standard size race pistol in a smaller, lighter model.

Built on the patented modular steel frame with polymer grip, the STI Stinger utilizes the Trubor compensated barrel which is designed to eliminate misalignment of the barrel and compensator bore or movement of the compensator along the barrel threads. The shorter Trubor barrel system in the Stinger gives an even greater reduction in muzzle flip and the shorter slide decreases overall slide cycle time; allowing the shooter to achieve faster target acquisition.
With an overall weight of 30 oz, the Stinger is significantly lighter in weight than full size race pistols. The Stinger is mounted with an OKO Reflex sight with protective blast shield. Additional enhancements include aluminum magwell, stainless steel ambidextrous safeties, stainless steel high rise grip safety, STI RecoilMaster guide rod system, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, and rear cocking serrations. The STI Stinger is available in .38 super.
